Ground Rules & Competition

· Cars must be checked in during the scheduled check-in time and will be verified as acceptable per the “block” and scales used at this station. No other measurements are accepted. Cars will not be accepted once the check-in time has passed.

· Non-race officials are not allowed to be in the check-in area.

· Once checked in by race officials, owners cannot touch cars until they are returned to the owner after the races. Cars are returned after the races are completed and results are finalized.

· All participants and spectators must stay behind the flagged area at all times.

· In the event that a car does not finish the race the car will be inspected and the Committee Chair and Cubmaster will decide if heat will be ran again.

· As approved by the Committee Chair or Cubmaster, the Parent or Guardian of the Scout or the owner of an open class car that was damaged during a race or is not finishing a heat may repair the car with a race official present. All modifications must be consulted with the race official before they are done. The car must be re-weighed before entering into the race.

· Decisions by race officials on race day are final and not subject for debate.

· Neither the Pack nor its volunteers are responsible for lost items. In the event something is found we will attempt to make an announcement at the event or through another communication channel at a later date.

· All questions during the race about the event should be directed to the Cubmaster or Committee Chair.
