Key3 Korner: Spring is Coming!

Which means that more outdoor actives can resume. Hopefully, you and your scout have used these colder months to work on the Youth Protection Pamphlet, Duty to God, and CyberChip. These are all required for your scout to advance to the next rank in May.

Where are we?

COVID-19 provided recruiting during a pandemic was difficult. However, the Pack stayed strong with 26 scouts. We sold $22,000 in popcorn, hosted an awesome PWD, kept our scouts active with our hiking program and our leaders worked tirelessly to keep the dens engaged in safe and interesting advancement.

Where are we going?

On February 28th, the Pack sent 10 AOL scouts on to their next adventure, Scouts BSA. Which leaves the pack with just 16 scouts. Which means that Pack Leadership is already thinking ahead to next year and recruitment. There are several recruitment activities in the work that we hope the families of the Pack will make a priority in supporting. Outside of these planned recruitment events, you and your scout are actually the best recruitment tools the pack has. Encourage your scouts to invite their friends to any of the summer events, tell other parents that Cubscouts is the best "club" in town.

School's Out for Summer

Day Camp dates have been released and registration is now open. Day Camp will be at the Yorkville American Legion June 28th thru July 2nd. The best part....you don't have to be a scout to partake in Day Camp, just a youth entering the 1st thru 5th grade!

Upcoming Events

The Pack summer activates are still being finalized but we will have something the 2nd Wednesday of each month, June-August. These are all FREE events!

HELP WANTED!

The Pack has an opening that requires immediate filing:
