Key3 Korner: Day Camp

Day Camp dates have been released and registration is now open. Day Camp will be at the Yorkville American Legion June 28th thru July 2nd. The best part....you don't have to be a scout to partake in Day Camp, just a youth entering the 1st thru 5th grade!

This year's theme is Weird Science and is sure to be as action packed as previous years.

Early bird registration does end April 15th.

We Need Adults!

Day Camp requires many adult hands to serve the youth. If you are interested in helping please reach out to Kris Veach(kveach@comcast.net, 630-300-4650) to inquire about openings.

Calling all Wolves, Bears, and Webelos

Who wants to earn their first Nova Award or maybe their 3rd or 4th?

We have a date! The April NOVA will be held Sunday April 18th from 1pm-4pm at the legion. The NOVA will be Swing where we will explore levers. NOVA's can be earned by Wolves and up...if your scout is a Lion or Tiger and they would like to partake, they may do so, they will not be eligible for the award.

Upcoming Events

Please RSVP on the scoutbook event. During the NOVA we will be using the kitchen. Please email pack350acm@gmail.com with any food allergies or post to the comments of the event on scoutbook.

As mentioned at Pack Night, Julie(our Asst Cubmaster) is a NOVA Counselor. All cubscout nova details can be found here. There are currently 11 different NOVA's. All your scout needs to do is pick one and let Julie know. Do NOT start the NOVA until you have made contact with Julie.

Also, Super NOVA's, at pack night incorrect information was provided regarding achieving a Super NOVA, a scout does not have to earn any NOVA's prior to working towards the Super NOVA. There are two different Super NOVA's depending on your rank. The requirements can be found here. Again, before starting work on a Super NOVA you must be assigned a counselor, Julie can assist you with locating a Super NOVA counselor.

Finally, not sure where to begin? Out of this World is still available virtually.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Julie at Pack350acm@gmail.com.
